Hun Manet Celebrates the 73rd Anniversary of Cambodia's UNESCO Membership

Phnom Penh, July 3, 2024 – Prime Minister Hun Manet congratulated the Kingdom of Cambodia on the 73rd anniversary of its membership in UNESCO (July 3, 1951 - July 3, 2024).

Prime Minister Hun Manet highlighted that since joining UNESCO, Cambodia has registered four intangible heritage properties, six cultural heritage properties, and three World Heritage Sites. These efforts aim to preserve the original forms of Khmer culture and the invaluable heritage left by Khmer ancestors, as well as the historical memory of Cambodia.
